Building 3D models of reservoir heterogeneity

A realistic fine grid 3D model of reservoir, reflecting the kinds of heterogeneity that directly condition fluid flow, is a critical step prior to flow simulation. FSS can assist in selecting the proper methodology for building such model, in checking the suitability of the available software for the task at end and, if need be, can help in the customization of existing software.

Coarsening up fine grid models

FSS International has a strong experience in the field of adaptive gridding, mesh optimization and scale averaging, which allows to coarsen up a fine grid model of reservoir into a grid-block model more suitable for flow simulation.
